Some Maths

Euler’s identity is often called the most beautiful equation in mathematics:

\[e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0\]

The quadratic formula gives the solutions to $ax^2 + bx + c = 0$ as:

\[x = \frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2 - 4ac}}{2a}\]

An inline example: the sum $\sum_{k=1}^{n} k = \frac{n(n+1)}{2}$.
